KAWAU, Stuart Anthony, (Papa Stu).

Passed away on June 26 2018

Born 28 September 1965 - passed away peacefully aged 52 years, in Wellington Hospital surrounded by his loving whanau; on 26 June 2018.  Loving soul mate of Kahu for 32 years. Devoted Papa to Christine, Ngahuia, Leroy and Lisa, Rangipai and Bull, Stu and Alex, Tim and Nikki, Kelly and Tenga, Chaq and Iha and his boy “Jess”.  Most precious Koro to Anahera, Aneka, Miharo, Te Koha, Brooklyn, Dallas, Waikohu, Manaia-Tamatea, Nyziah, Anahera Hine Aroha, Te Awakura, Maiaorere, Amokura, T.J., Ryde, and Brooklyn.  Best mate and “wifey” to Willie Robinson.  A respected Papa to staff and all his mokopuna at Te Kohinga Aroha Te Kohanga Reo, Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o Te Ātihaunui ā Pāpārangi, Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o Tupoho, Te Wharekura o Tupoho, Te Kōpae Reo o Tupoho and the many Kohanga Reo and Kura Kaupapa ki Aotea.
Papa Stu will lay at Whangaehu Marae. His final karakia will be held at the Marae on Saturday 30 June 2018, at 11am. Followed by interment at the Aramoho Lawn Cemetery.

KAWAU, Stuart Anthony, Beloved son of the late Ted and Kathleen Kawau (nee Uru- Woon).  Much loved and cherished baby brother and brother in law of Lorraine (decd) and Martin Kumeroa, Rewa and Jimmy Brooks, Virg (decd) and Sam Wanoa (decd), Geoffrey and Jan, Toni and Thomas, Beryl and Jeff, Sandy and Terry, Sweety Girl, Becks and Shane, and his many other brothers and sisters he held at heart. Treasured Papa and Uncle to to his many nieces and nephews.
