Loved husband of the late Hilda. Loved father and father-in-law of Dave and Rach, Paul and Annette, and Rachel and Dave. Loved Pop of Shannon, Taelor, Matt, Hannah, Josh, Daniel, and Jade. Loved Great Poppa of Vera-Lilly, and Aurora. Special thanks to the caring staff at Kowhainui.

A service to celebrate John’s life will be held in the Cleveland Chapel, 179 Ingestre Street, Whanganui, on Friday 23 December 2022 at 10:30am, and will be live-streamed at www.clevelandfunerals.co.nz.

Farewell John. As a family growing up on Durie Hill in the 70s and 80s plus, we thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful lifestyle and the Burroughs family. Gr8 memories of John and Hilda . Sending my regards to Dave and Rach, Paul and Annette and Rach (snax) and Dave, plus all the grandchildren and gr8 grandchildren. Together again with Hilda.
