PEKE, John John Hohepa Wiremu (Hoani): Passed away peacefully in Whanganui on Monday, 2nd June 2025, aged 69 years. Eldest son of Joseph Peke and Delphina Te Oraiti Taiaroa-Waretini, and loved son of Johnny Hemi. Much loved Dad of Nigel, Jayson, Hemi, Boston, and Levi. A loved brother, cousin, uncle, and loving Koro of all his mokopuna.

Poroporoaki will be after 6pm service on Friday. Nau mai, harae mai. If you wish to share, please do so at poroporoaki as time will be limited at the nehu.

The Service for Hoani will be held at Te Ao Hou Marae, 356 Somme Parade, Whanganui on Saturday, the 7th of June 2025 at 10am followed by burial in the Aramoho Cemetery, Whanganui.
