Olive Kathleen SARGENT

Passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones after a courageous battle on 13 March 2026. Loved wife and soul-mate of John for 57 years. Beautiful mother of Rochelle, and the late Jamie. Loved Nana of Renee, Jamie, and Kahlia. A service to celebrate Olive’s life will be held in the Cleveland Chapel, 179 Ingestre Street, Whanganui, on Thursday 19 March 2026, at 11am, and will be live-streamed at www.clevelandfunerals.co.nz.

To John and Family, I’m so sorry for the loss of such a wonderful Lady. I’ve been privileged to have many amazing times and memories with Olive over the last 30 years, mostly in the German Shepherd world.
I wish I could’ve been there but have live streamed instead as I’m currently in North Carolina.
Thank you Olive for your friendship and support, your help and Mentorship was so very special, I will never forget how you selflessly gave your time to me and the best wedding present ever ❤️ aka Chill, my soulmate dog.
I miss our chats dearly.
