Janice Muriel (Jan-Louise) HAMBLYN of Whanganui, passed away peacefully at home on Friday 9 October 2026 aged 80.

Beloved Sister, Aunty, Mother, Grandmother & Great-Grandmother. Devoted wife to the late Noel Simpson & former wife of the late Robert (Bob) Kreymborg.

Many will feel Jan-Louise’s absence as a Champion Member of Stone Soup Whanganui, Committed Member of the Quakers Society of Friends, former Scholar of Friends School, Whanganui 1955-59 & participation in local wellbeing groups Whanganui Garden Club, Gonville Knitters & Mahjong Players Group & Socrates Café.

A Memorial Meeting for Jan-Louise’s life, an afternoon tea gathering at the Quaker Acres, 76 Virginia Road, Whanganui, from 2pm, Saturday 14th November. All are welcome.
